The following letter relates to the Reporter Online article “Scattering seed on fields of battle — with catechisms, LSB.”
I enjoyed reading your article [about donations of Luther’s Small Catechism and Lutheran Service Book for those in the Armed Forces].
Is this a continuing need? And if so, where can more catechisms and [copies of] Lutheran Service Book be sent?
Thank you for your response.
Jill Gerberding, Springfield, Ill.
Chaplain Jim Buckman, who is featured in this article, has now returned home from his deployment in Qatar and is accepting hard-bound copies of LSB and the catechism for service members and their families who are stateside. Those who wish to donate these volumes are encouraged to first contact him via email at jbuckman007@cs.com. — Ed.
