    Good for them, but do it in all in the name of Christ’s love. Of course, I am sure the ELCA and the Episcopal Church will come out and condemn this.

    I have known Steve Cohen ( Apple of His eye) many years and he does profess Christ as the Messiah but he is still Jewish by birth. He is very proud of that however he also can and does believe in Christ and his death and resurrection for mankind Jewish and Gentile.

    Christ himself tells us to preach His gospel to ALL people and that includes HIS people who are Jewish… was Christ!

    As someone raised in the LCMS church who has since converted to Judaism, I can tell you that there are fundamental differences in how Judaism and Lutheranism (and Protestantism in general) view the world and the role of religion that cannot be glossed over by dressing up Lutheranism with Jewish practices and Hebrew prayers.
