@MarkWood: I’m currently going through a Lutheranized version of Mike Breen’s discipleship huddles at an LCMS church in Colorado. I’m curious as to how the LCMS is going to backchannel the important takeaways and resource lists from these MDFL gatherings so that laypeople have the information and access that they need to run and manage Lutheran discipleship groups, going forward. I mean, honestly, the LCMS should have had something like this ten years ago, but I’m THRILLED to see it finally come to fruition now.

Hello Ryan, yes it is great (even exciting) that we are making progress on resource sharing across the Synod. The main way in which we will be making the resources identified or developed through the MDFL gatherings is through an on-line resource center. That resource center is in development now and an early version will be shared at this week’s MDFL gathering. We will continuing developing the resource center based on feedback we receive at the gatherings and through Beta testing this spring. Our plan is to never finish the resource center. Instead it will continue to grow and change to meet the needs of the people using it.
