Former trust administrator promoted to oversee charitable gift administration
ST. LOUIS, June 9, 2014— Tina Clasquin has been promoted to vice-president of trust administration and customer support with The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS) Foundation effective June 16.
As part of her new duties, Clasquin will manage LCMS Foundation’s trust administration and customer service operations, and oversee the establishment of various deferred trust instruments, contracts, bequests and direct gifts. She also will join the foundation’s leadership team and will work collaboratively with investment, gift planning and marketing operations.
Clasquin succeeds Thomas Angus, who retires this month after serving with the LCMS Foundation for 31 years.
Clasquin joined the LCMS Foundation in 1999, and has been serving as a trust administrator since then. She previously served as an investment clerk with the Lutheran Church Extension Fund, beginning in 1986.
“Tina knows our organization and our customers well,” said David Fiedler, president of the LCMS Foundation. “She is certainly well respected for her competence and outstanding service to internal staff and customers alike, all factors that will serve her well in this new position.”
A lifelong resident of Columbia, Ill., Clasquin earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business administration from Fontbonne University in St. Louis. She is a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor and a Chartered Global Management Accountant.
She and her husband, Todd, have two children; Caitie, a student at Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville, Ill., and Andrew, high school freshman.
