Those who will vote in the 2016 election of the LCMS president should watch for the postcard reproduced below that has been mailed to them concerning that election.
Attention: LCMS Presidential Election Voters
It is nearly time to cast your vote for the LCMS president for the next triennium. The purpose of this postcard is to alert you to an envelope being sent to you via U.S. Mail by Election-America on May 31. The envelope will contain the information you will need to vote. It will look like this when it arrives in your mailbox in early June:
Participation in the election will require the use of a computer and access to the Internet. The envelope will contain the Internet address you will need to access the voting site and the election code and PIN number that will allow you to participate. To make certain that you receive this information, Election-America will also be sending an email with the same information. Both the envelope and the email will arrive in plenty of time for you to participate in the June 11-14 election.
