A statement from the Rev. Dr. Matthew Harrison, president of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod, regarding the accident that occurred near the LCMS International Center.
Last night, Dec. 11, an automobile accident occurred near the International Center of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod. Upon hearing this, I immediately prayed for the families of those who died and for the first responders. Those prayers will continue. Once again, we bring our grief and concerns to God. We rejoice that when we come before Him, we know that He loves and cares for us at all times. This is the reason we celebrate Christmas — God’s love in Christ means life for the world. May God’s peace in Christ be with everyone.
