Concordia Seminary, St. Louis (CSL), seeks a full-time Practical Theology faculty member who will also hold the administrative role of parish educator. The successful candidate will serve as an ordained, rostered employee of CSL, providing theological education and leadership for the formation of pastors, missionaries, deaconesses, scholars and leaders. He should have a demonstrated record of service as an educator in the parish or mission field, hold a terminal degree in education (Ph.D. or Ed.D.) and be an ordained pastor of the LCMS or a partner church body. Responsibilities include teaching parish educational philosophy, theology, pedagogy and curriculum/course design to ministerial formation students; and teaching and advising graduate-level students. Other responsibilities may be assigned.
