Call for candidates: Admissions officer, Concordia Seminary

Concordia Seminary, St. Louis (CSL), seeks candidates for the position of admissions officer to recruit students for the Master of Divinity, Alternate Route and Deaconess programs, as well as contextual students in the Specific Ministry Pastor Certification and Online Deaconess programs. Successful candidates will develop annual goals and written plans; implement various individual and group events, both on and off campus; recruit from the field through trips to meet prospective students; and foster an awareness of vocation and the process of discernment.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be an ordained pastor who has earned a Master of Divinity from an LCMS seminary, preferably CSL.
  • Have five years parish experience (preferred).
  • Have knowledge of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod and its congregations and mission.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Be proficient in the use of the main features of Microsoft Office and have previous experience working in a database environment.
