For the first time, LCMS World Relief/Human Care Ministries is offering free online resources for Life Sunday, which marks the anniversary of the date on which the U.S. Supreme Court legalized abortion.
The resources for the Jan 18 observance include sermons, a Psalm and response, and suggestions for readings, prayers and hymns — all available for download at http://worldrelief.lcms.org.
Maggie Karner, director of LCMS Life Ministries, part of LCMS World Relief/Human Care, compiled the resources. She also is available to speak on sanctity-of-life issues, including abortion, euthanasia, genetic engineering, cloning and chastity.
