Concordia University, River Forest, Ill., invites applications for faculty positions in various departments and disciplines. The number of positions to be filled will be determined by budget availability and the qualification of the applicants. The university will assign the academic rank for the position based on the academic credentials of the finalist. Compensation depends on academic credentials and teaching experience. Positions are currently available for faculty in biology, business, communications, mathematics, psychology, sociology, systematic theology and deaconess ministry.
Preferred candidates would hold a terminal degree in their discipline and have prior teaching experience. Candidates without a terminal degree will be considered if they have demonstrated a potential for teaching excellence and commitment to university- level teaching. All candidates must have a commitment to the mission of the university.
