Emboscada! El Buen Pastor al Rescate (“Ambush! The Good Shepherd to the Rescue”) is the new Spanish-English vacation Bible school program from Concordia Publishing House.
It is the fourth Spanish bilingual program produced by CPH, and is the only bilingual vacation 
The bilingual VBS program can be “very helpful to those churches interested in reaching out to their Spanish neighbors,” Hoppe said. “It is also helpful to churches that go to Latin American countries to hold a Spanish VBS and have little knowledge of the Spanish language.”
Emboscada! was written in Spanish by a Lutheran pastor-teacher team in Argentina, and is available in two versions: Spanish or the bilingual Spanish-English.
Lessons are divided into three age levels — 3 to 5, 6 to 8, and 9 to 11, and include teachers guides and hands-on activities that reinforce the concepts taught. The program also includes a CD of seven original Spanish songs, and promotional materials such as posters and invitations.
