The Ohio District of The Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod seeks applicants for the position of director of ministry resources.
This executive position serves as the lead Mission and Ministry Facilitator (MMF) of the Ohio District. This leader directs, manages, and motivates other MMFs in the Ohio District. This individual ensures that the ministry outcomes of the district in the areas of evangelism, stewardship, demographics, strategic planning, and specialized ministries are accomplished through the MMF model and the use of ministry task forces.
It is assumed this person will have sound biblical knowledge and a solid Christian faith, a commitment to the Lutheran confessions, and a passion for the Lord’s work in the Ohio District and beyond.
This individual must be a rostered LCMS ordained church worker and have demonstrated success as a church planter; the ability to manage and motivate others; demonstrated success as an MMF (desired); demonstrated success in strategic planning; excellent facilitation skills and a working knowledge of current presentation technology; at least 10 years of successful congregational experience; and excellent relational skills.
