Concordia Plans names three to management posts

Jim Sanft and Linda Olsen have been named to new positions with Concordia Plan Services (CPS), and Jack Pfitzer now fills a renamed CPS management post.  All three are from St. Louis.

Concordia Plan Services administers the Synod’s health, disability, life insurance, and retirement programs.

Sanft, with CPS for seven years, is now executive vice president and chief operating officer.  In addition to retaining responsibilities he previously held as vice president of the CPS Actuarial Services division, Sanft also oversees its Operations, Information Technology, and Education and Outreach  (formerly Communications) divisions.

Olsen, vice president of Communications for CPS since 1995, has been named vice president of Plan Administration, in which she is responsible for plan language changes, record retention policies, and staff training programs.  Olsen has been with CPS since 1969.

Pfitzer, vice president of CPS Education and Outreach, worked several years as a consultant for the LCMS Board for Mission Services, and was its interim director of communications earlier this year.  He has been in marketing communications for more than 25 years, including 17 years with Anheuser-Busch, and most recently as president of his own consulting business.
