Concordia University System is searching for professors in the academic disciplines of teacher education, business, health sciences, and liberal arts. The 10 Concordia colleges and universities have openings in these areas on an annual basis due to retirements or an increase in student enrollment.
Concordia colleges and universities are located across the country. Full-time faculty at the 10 institutions number over 1,400. Student enrollment is now at 18,500 and is growing at an annual rate of 5 percent. Approximately 3,000 students are identified in a church-work career program. There are 100 undergraduate and 35 graduate programs, including the only Lutheran institution in America with a Doctorate of Education. Approximately 400 students are placed in full-time church work annually. Students receive over $59 million in financial aid from direct scholarship gifts or earnings on endowment funds. The consolidated budget for the 10 Concordia colleges and universities is approaching $250 million.
