The conference is scheduled for May 7 at Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, Ind., and also will be available online in a live-stream format.
Keynote speaker for the event is Kem Meyer, author of Less Clutter, Less Noise: Beyond Bulletins, Brochures and Bake Sales, who will share insights on how to use social media effectively.
Also sharing their perspectives will be seminary faculty Dr. Lawrence R. Rast Jr., academic dean, who will discuss how technology has changed the church in the 20th and 21st centuries, and Rev. Bill Johnson, director of Distance Education, who will offer thoughts on “Where do we go from here?” There also will be time at the conference to ask questions.
