In May’s ‘Lutheran Witness’

Speaking about the faith to people who don’t believe can be a nerve-wracking business. The May issue of The Lutheran Witness helps readers in doing just that.

Grandparents will learn how to start a conversation with a wayward grandchild who has left the Church. College students will learn how to defend the faith against professors and peers who think Christian beliefs are old-fashioned and out-of-date. Coworkers, neighbors and family members will learn how to speak the truth in love to those around them.

Readers will also hear about the Synod’s new “Every One His Witness” evangelism program — rooted in the understanding that God, not man, grows His Church.
