ANNIVERSARIES

     The Lutheran Witness welcomes notices 50 words or less from LCMS congre­gations about their upcoming “milestone” anniversaries. The deadline for re­ceipt of such notices is the 10th of the month two months prior to the publi­cation month (e.g., April 10 for the June/July issue). Send notices to notices@lcms.org. — Ed.

Christus Victor Lutheran Church, Knoxville, Tenn., is celebrating its 50th anniversary May 6. There will be food and drinks to follow plus some sharing from charter member. Dr. Paavola will be here to share in the day as well.

 

Immanuel Lutheran Church, Beemer, Neb., is celebrating its 150th anniversary Sunday, July 8. We will celebrate at our annual Mission Fest service, with guest preacher, Rev. Trinity Lutheran Church, Wisconsin Dells, Wis., will celebrate its 100th anniversary April 22, with a special service at 2:30 p.m. Following the service, a fellowship dinner will be held at the Community Center in Lake Delton. For information and tickets, call 608-253-3241.

 

Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Cleveland, Ohio, will celebrate its 175th anniversary Sunday, April 29, during 10:15 a.m. service. Rev. Dr. Roosevelt Gray will preach.
