The resource also offers prayers, Scripture passages and hymns that are appropriate to use after a tragedy.
It is hoped that the guide will be a useful resource for church workers who are looking for ways to respond. At the very least, it will serve as a discussion starter and conversation piece as congregations reach out to the community in times of great distress.
