Manager, LCMS School Ministry

LCMS School Ministry seeks a manager to collaborate on the development and execution of projects and program operations in the Office of National Mission. The manager of LCMS School Ministry reports to the director of School Ministry.

Responsibilities include:

  • Work with vendors to implement School Ministry education conferences;
  • Serve as the MinistrySafe liaison to LCMS districts;
  • Manage the National Lutheran School Accreditation (NLSA) program as assigned by the NLSA director; and
  • Manage the School Leadership Development Project (SLED).

Education and experience

  • Member of an LCMS congregation, faithful to the Holy Scriptures and the Lutheran Confessions and supportive of the Synod’s Constitution, Bylaws and policies;
  • Master’s degree (preferred) in education, educational leadership or equivalent field;
  • Minimum five years of experience as a Lutheran school administrator; and
  • An effective communicator and leader.
