Two new publications are available via the free, Web-based LCMS e-News subscription service:
- “Mercy Notes,” produced by LCMS World Relief and Human Care, provides news, information and resources on government and social issues from a Lutheran perspective.
- “New LCMS Hymnal,” from the Commission on Worship, offers updates on the development of the Synod’s new hymnal set for publication in 2006.
To subscribe to either publication, visit the LCMS e-News Web site at www.lcms.org/enews. Returning subscribers should enter their e-mail address and password, then click on “View or Modify my Newsletters.”
New subscribers may sign up for an e-News account by entering the requested contact information, then click on “View or Modify my Newsletters.”
“Mercy Notes” is in the “Caring for Others” folder, and the hymnal newsletter may be found in the “Worship” folder.
Since the inception of e-News in July, nearly 13,500 subscribers have signed up to receive one or more free e-News publications. Subscribers receive, on average, seven publications out of the 24 available.
