Mequon to host health conference

“Ethical Conflicts in Health Care: The Christian Response” will be the focus of the 10th Annual Parish Nurse and Congregational Health Fall Conference, to be held Oct. 15 at Concordia University Wisconsin, Mequon.
 
In his keynote address, Dr. John Saleska, director of the Concordia Bible Institute at Mequon, will speak on “Forgiveness by His Infinite Grace and Mercy.”
 
Conference participants may choose to attend up to four breakout sessions from eight offered.  Topics to be covered include “Basics in Health Care Ethics,” “Ethical Decision-Making in Congregational Health,” “Cross-cultural Issues and Ethics,” “Christian Approaches to End-of-Life Decisions,” “Lutherans and the 2004 Election: Voting your Faith” and “Christian Ethics: Is There Room for Debate?”
 
Registration is $80, which includes materials and lunch.
