Registration remains open for the 2004 National LCMS Youth Gathering in Orlando, Fla., with a late-registration fee of $50 to be added for those who register after Feb. 28. The registration fee before that date is $225 per participant.
Gretchen Jameson, communications manager for the Gathering, said that about 31,000 youth and adults had registered by Feb. 4, and that registrations will continue to be accepted “on a space-available basis.”
Jameson said that there is space available for as many as 36,000 for the July 24-28 Gathering.
The 2001 Gathering in New Orleans had 32,000 participants — a record for the Gatherings which have been held every three years since 1980.
