Concordia, Portland, to mark centennial

Concordia University, Portland, Ore., will celebrate its 100th anniversary during a “Centennial Celebration Weekend” June 23-26.
 
Anniversary activities include:

  • a “Service of Thanksgiving and Remembrance,” with Dr. Erhart Bauer.
  • “21st Century Christianity,” an open forum and discussion with Synod President Gerald B. Kieschnick and Northwest District President Warren Schumacher.
  • a “Centennial Worship Service,” with Kieschnick as speaker and a special performance by the Alumni Choir and Hand Bells.

Also offered during the centennial weekend are a golf challenge, a family zoo trip, a reunion, and a children’s camp.
