DVDs of presentations from the 15th Annual Theological Symposium are now available from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis. The symposium, “The Challenge of Homosexuality — The Church Responds,” was held last fall on the seminary campus.
The six DVDs may be purchased individually or as a set.
Topics covered on the DVDs include:
- “Setting the Stage for the Theological Symposium” and “The Use of Scripture Concerning Homosexuality.”
- “Preaching Concerning Homosexuality.”
- “Christian Responses to the Culture’s Normalization of Homosexuality.”
- “The Local Congregation Approaches the Issues: Lutheran Responses.”
- “A Chaste and Decent Life: Sexual Catechesis Today” and “Origins, Causes, and Treatments of Homosexuality.”
- “Legal Issues for Congregations and Pastors Concerning Homosexuality” and “Does God Hate Sinners? A Response to Hate Speech.”
Individual DVDs are $30 each, or $15 each for 2004 Symposium attendees; the set of six DVDs is $140, or $70 for attendees. Prices include shipping and handling.
