LEA sponsors Web page for those seeking, offering jobs

The Lutheran Education Association (LEA) is offering a new Web page where Lutheran educators may post their qualifications and look for employment opportunities.  Lutheran schools, associations, and congregations also may post position openings and seek those qualified to fill them.

The site, known as the Lutheran Educator Opportunity Center (LEOC), is at http://leoc.lea.org/ or may be accessed from LEA’s home page at www.lea.org.

Use of the LEOC is free for educators posting their qualifications. The cost of a one-year subscription for those listing available positions is based on the number of positions being listed.

“LEOC is not intended to bypass LCMS procedures for certified personnel,” says LEA’s announcement of the new service.

Membership in LEA is not required for those using the service.

LEOC is made possible by a grant from Thrivent Financial for Lutherans.
