Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, is offering a dozen summer workshops for pastors, professional church workers, and laypeople.
The workshops, to be held at LCMS churches and schools in 12 cities, cover a variety of topics. All will be taught by members of the Concordia Seminary faculty.
The cost for each workshop is $110, except for “Church-State Issues from a Lutheran Perspective,” to be held June 21-24 at the Luther Institute in Washington, D.C. That session, taught by Concordia Seminary Interim President Dale Meyer, is $195 and is limited to seven participants.

- June 13-15, Seymour, Ind. — “Worship — The Lutheran Content.”
- July 11-13, Phoenix — “Left Behind: A Biblical and Confessional Response.”
- July 11-13, Fargo, N.D. — “Shepherding God’s Flock Today: Issues in Church, Ministry, and Pastoral Leadership from the First Testament.”
- July 11-13, Cedar Falls, Iowa, and Aug. 1-3, Colorado Springs, Colo. — “Two Kinds of Righteousness: A Better Paradigm than Law and Gospel.”
- July 11-13, Wichita, Kan. — “Martin Luther for the Parish Pastor.”
- July 18-20, Bronxville, N.Y. — “When Things Fall Apart.”
- Aug. 1-3, Cleveland — “Why Some and Not Others? The Canon of the New Testament in Historical and Theological Perspective.”
- Aug. 8-10, Tryon, N.C. — “Isaiah: The Fifth Gospel.”
- Aug. 15-17, Fort Collins, Colo. — “The Gospel in the Pluralistic Age.”
