Columnist Cal Thomas to speak at St. Louis seminary

Cal Thomas, a 35-year veteran of broadcast and print journalism, will deliver the eighth annual Hubert L. Dellinger Jr. Lecture at 7 p.m. Sept. 19 at Concordia Seminary, St. Louis.

The lecture, to be held in the seminary’s Clara and Spencer Werner Auditorium, begins the first day of the 17th Annual Theological Symposium.  There is no admission charge and no tickets will be issued.

Thomas, a conservative commentator, writes a twice-weekly column that appears in more than 550 newspapers nationwide; hosts his own weekly television show, “After Hours with Cal Thomas,” on the Fox News Channel; and hosts a daily radio program syndicated to more than 300 stations across the country.  He also co-writes a forum page with Democratic political consultant Bob Beckel titled “Common Ground” for USA Today.
