CPH`s 2006-07 catalog showcases new materials

Concordia Publishing House’s new 2006-07 catalog features more than 30 new books and other items that are now available for order.cph catalog

New items include:

  • The Town that Forgot About Christmas ($14.99, item no. 56-2392S), adapted by Susan K. Leigh from a story by Mary Warren, relates the joy of Christmas to children ages 5 and older.
  • four new Arch Books: The Christmas Message (item no. 59-1605S), The Lost Coin (item no. 59-1606S), Moses and the Long Walk (item no. 59-1607S), and The Ten Plagues (item no. 59-1608S).  Arch Books, priced at $1.99 each, tell popular Bible stories for children through rhyme and bright illustrations.
  • Thanksgiving — A Harvest Celebration ($6.99, item no. 56-2370S), by Julie Stiegemeyer, explains the Thanksgiving story and traditions and how every day is a good day to thank God for His gifts to us — especially Jesus.
  • Little Ones Talk with God ($9.99, item no. 56-2396S), by various authors, features 28 classic prayers for children.
  • You Ask About … Life ($9.99, item no. 12-4274S), by Tim Pauls, provides Bible-based answers to teenagers’ questions about school and home life, science and faith, abortion and euthanasia, war and peace, and other topics.
  • Christ’s Kids Create! ($9.99, item no. 12-4281S), by Vicki Boston and Debbie Stroh, features more than 50 seasonal craft projects for children from teachers across the country.
  • Witness to the Light ($14.99, item no. 12-4279S), by Stephen J. Carter, offers a collection of daily devotions that relate to the Synod’s Ablaze! initiative to share the Gospel with others.
  • In Search of the Genesis World — Debunking the Evolution Myth ($19.99, item no. 12-4278S), by Erich A. von Fange, offers a Christian’s response to evolution.

The new catalog also offers photos and information about hundreds of other items, including seasonal bulletin inserts, clergy shirts, pins, artwork, Bibles, certificates, music, and numerous resources for pastors, teachers, and parents.
