Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, is hosting two upcoming retreats: one for youth and one for adults:
- “The Lord’s Prayer,” to be held April 28-30, is designed for youth who are receiving confirmation instruction in their own congregations. The retreat will explore the Biblical basis for prayer and the Lutheran understanding of “The Lord’s Prayer.” Presenter will be Rev. John Dreyer, the seminary’s admissions counselor.
Cost is $100 and includes on-campus housing and meals. Registration is due by March 28. - “Christ in the Old Testament,” May 5-6, will focus on Jesus Christ as the “heart and center” of the Holy Scriptures, showing that salvation for God’s people in the Old Testament was through faith in Christ alone. Presenter will be Dr. John W. Saleska, director of the Concordia Bible Institute in Mequon, Wis.
Cost is $40 and includes Friday dinner and Saturday lunch. Campus housing is available for $25 per day on a first-come, first-served basis. To reserve a room, call (260) 452-2247. Registration is due by April 21.
