CPH offers resources on `responding to tragedy`

In the aftermath of the recent Virginia Tech shootings, Concordia Publishing House has made available on its Web site a number of Bible studies and resources designed for use after a tragedy.

All of the resources may be downloaded free of charge and reproduced as needed.

The Puzzle of Pain: Where is God in Human Suffering? is a one-session Bible study that may be used by congregations.  It includes discussion questions and a leaders guide.

Also available online are:

  • Guns and Teens — But I Need Protection!, and  Violence — Living in the Age of Rage, Bible studies for youth that include separate student pages.
  • the Bible study When the Mountains Dance.
  • an adult Bible study on school violence.
  • resources on school violence for elementary school teachers.

To view or download any of the above items, visit the Web site www.cph.org/resources/vt.asp
