June 25 is the deadline to register for an “Ablaze! Impact Tour” this fall of China, Hong Kong, and Macau, with an optional extension to Vietnam.
Dr. Robert Roegner, executive director of LCMS World Mission, will host the Sept. 27-Oct. 9 tour, which will include visits with Lutherans who have been working among the billion-plus people who live in that part of the world. The optional extension to Vietnam will add three days to the itinerary, returning to the United States Oct. 12.
Accompanying the tour will be Rev. John Mehl, Asia regional director for LCMS World Mission. Mehl and his family live in Hong Kong.
Roegner said that he sees the tour “as an opportunity to better know some of our friends and donors, build stronger relationships, and show some of the many opportunities for touching lives and hearts around the world.”
