LHM offers tour to Central America

Lutheran Hour Ministries (LHM) is now accepting reservations for its 2009 Ministry Tour to Central America.

LHM tours offer participants an opportunity to get a firsthand look at LHM ministries in action and to learn about outreach in the host countries.

The Feb. 5-14 tour will visit Nicaragua and Panama, including stops at Granada and Leon, San Jacinto hot springs, Masaya Volcano National Park, the Panama Canal and Railroad, El Valle de Anton crater, and Embera Indian Village.  Leading the tour will be Ken Peterson, LHM’s area counselor for Latin America.

The cost of $3,200 includes roundtrip airfare from Houston, eight nights lodging, sightseeing, most meals, travel between destination cities, and entrance/activity fees.

Limited opportunities also are available through September for this year’s LHM tour to Thailand and Vietnam Nov. 2-15.

For more information about either tour — including a brochure, bulletin insert, PowerPoint presentation, itinerary, payment schedule, and registration form — visit www.lhm.org/tours on the Web.  Or, contact Lutheran Hour Ministries at (800) 752-9636, Ext. 4168, or tours@lhmint.org.
