The Pacific Southwest District, Irvine, Calif., is seeking applications for the position of assistant vice president — Lutheran Church Extension Fund. This person will provide consultation to congregations and schools of the district on financial, real estate, and ministry matters. In addition, the person filling this position will become well-versed with the products and services offered by the Lutheran Church Extension Fund. This position does require a significant amount of travel, both within and outside of the district.
The ideal candidate would have a background in the banking industry, experience in dealing with real-estate matters, and possess excellent communication skills. In addition, the individual that we are seeking would be someone who has a heart for ministry and a strong desire to serve the Lord and His church. Applicants must be active members of The Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business or related disciplines.
