There’s still time to join the 38th “March for Life,” Jan. 24 in Washington, D.C. The annual event protests the 1973 U.S. Supreme Court decision legalizing abortion and attests to the value of human life.
Events for Lutherans include a 9 a.m. worship service at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Alexandria, Va., with Lutherans For Life Executive Director Dr. James I. Lamb delivering the sermon. After a complimentary brunch at the church, the group will travel to downtown Washington for the rally and march.
Free lodging is available for travelers in the homes of area Lutherans.
