Seminary offers workshop on 'Making Abortion Unthinkable'

Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, will offer a one-day workshop, “Making Abortion Unthinkable,” on Saturday, Jan. 29.  The workshop will begin at 8:30 a.m. and conclude at 2:30 p.m.  It is open to adults and older teenagers.

The workshop will be led and moderated by Dr. Jeffrey Gibbs, professor of exegetical theology at the seminary. Using video-based presentations as well as discussion segments, Gibbs will explore the question of abortion with regard to apologetics and human reason.

The workshop is designed to strengthen and clarify understanding for those who attend, as well as equip them to speak winsomely — even to non-Christians — on behalf of the unborn.

Pre-registration by Jan. 20 is required. The registration fee of $15 includes lunch and materials.

For more information or to register, call the seminary at 314-505-7486 or send an e-mail to ce@csl.edu.
