Seminaries to provide live stream of 'call day' services

Both seminaries of The Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod will provide live coverage of their call day and assignment services on their websites. 

Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, Ind., will provide video and audio streaming of its vicarage placement and deaconess internship assignment service at 7 p.m. May 2, with Northwest District President Rev. Paul A. Linnemann serving as preacher.

At 7 p.m. on May 3, LCMS Secretary Dr. Raymond Hartwig will preach at the call service for pastoral candidates.  Both services will be held in the seminary’s Kramer Chapel.

Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, will stream its vicarage assignment service at 3 p.m. May 4, with Nebraska District President Rev. Russell L. Sommerfeld preaching.

During a 7 p.m. worship service, candidates for the pastoral ministry will receive their first calls to serve as pastors, missionaries and chaplains.  LCMS President Rev. Matthew C. Harrison will serve as preacher.  Both services will be held in the seminary’s Chapel of St. Timothy and St. Titus.
