Students, teachers can win prizes in coloring contest

Students in preschool through eighth grade are invited to compete for prizes in a coloring contest sponsored by the Petal Pushers® — volunteers who decorate the Lutheran Hour Ministries float and other float entries — in the annual Jan. 1 Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, Calif.

One winner will be selected from each of the following groups:

  • preschool and kindergarten,
  • first and second grades,
  • third, fourth and fifth grades, and
  • sixth, seventh and eighth grades.

First-place winners — and their teachers — will receive a $50 coupon to be used at the Petal Pushers online store, a Petal Pushers T-shirt and a 2016 Rose Parade float magnet.

Second- and third-place winners in each category will receive a Petal Pushers T-shirt and a float magnet.
