The Rev. Roger James, an LCMS missionary serving in Sri Lanka, teaches vicars to help strengthen the Lanka Lutheran Church. Providing those vicars with stipends is one of 11 international mission projects selected for support by Jesus Is Lord Mission, an independent mission society that has raised more than $2.4 million for LCMS mission work since 2002.
