April 26 webinar topic: caring for teens as they make decisions

The free webinar, “How Do I Know?,” will be presented by the Rev. Ryan Peterson, campus pastor and theology professor at Concordia University, Ann Arbor.

“How Do I Know?” is the title of a free webinar scheduled for noon to 1 p.m. Central time on Wednesday, April 26.

Sponsored by LCMS Youth Ministry, the webinar is offered as a support resource for professional and lay leaders who work with youth.

“The lives of teens are filled with big decisions and more are coming up,” says the Rev. Ryan Peterson, the webinar’s presenter. “How do they know what to do and how do we as youth ministers walk with them as they make decisions?

“We’ll explore how to care for youth during these times and ultimately point them to Jesus.”

Peterson serves as campus pastor and assistant professor of Theology at Concordia University, Ann Arbor, Mich. He is a graduate of Concordia University Wisconsin, Mequon, and Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, and he is currently finishing his Doctor of Ministry degree at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, Deerfield, Ill.

Peterson spoke on this topic to a teen audience at the 2016 LCMS Youth Gathering (listen to the podcast).
