KFUO Audio: Why Do Christians Show Mercy?

The Rev. Ross Johnson, director of LCMS Disaster Response, and the Rev. Michael Meyer, manager of LCMS Disaster Response, joined host Kip Allen on September’s “Free to be Faithful” program on Worldwide KFUO to discuss how Christians respond to disasters.

Christians express their faith in many ways — including acts of mercy in times of tragedy — like the recent Hurricanes Harvey and Irma, and other disasters.

Rev. Johnson and Rev. Meyer examine why Christians do acts of mercy for all people, why it’s a deeply ingrained part of Christian theology, and how we can continue to help those in need.
