March 10 webinar: spiritually preparing youth for college

“Preparing Youth to Survive the Academic Apocalypse” is the topic of a free webinar scheduled for 1-2 p.m. Central time on Friday, March 10.

Zill

Sponsored by LCMS Youth Ministry, the webinar is being offered as a support resource for professional and lay leaders who work with youth.

“It’s no secret that the transition from high school to college can be a scary one, not only for young people themselves but also for parents, youth workers, pastors and others,” says the Rev. Marcus Zill, director of LCMS Campus Ministry.

Zill will share the “essentials” for helping youth make this transition, offering ideas to help youth not only remain in their faith but grow in it during this pivotal period in their lives.

Zill spoke on this topic to youth and adult leaders at the 2016 LCMS Youth Gathering.

Before serving as director of LCMS Campus Ministry and LCMS U, Zill was involved in full-time campus ministry for more than a decade. His life’s passion, he says, is to help the church’s youth grow in their faith during one of the most crucial and formative periods in their lives.
