‘Reporter’ Supplement: Faithful to the Word of God

In a supplement to the October 2018 Reporter, LCMS Pastoral Education highlights Preach the Word (PTW), a post-seminary continuing-education initiative out of the LCMS Office of the President.

The Preach the Word program offers video and study guide modules to help pastors grow their skills in the art of preaching while also earning valuable Continuing Education Units.

The Rev. Dr. James Baneck, executive director of LCMS Pastoral Education, consults with the Rev. Dr. Carl Fickenscher II, chairman of PTW; LCMS Communications; Doctrinal Review; and PTW authors to produce the study materials.
