Volunteers needed in Texas

Volunteers are still needed in Texas to help homeowners with cleanup and rebuilding after Hurricane Harvey pounded the state six months ago with dangerous winds and torrential rain.

Individuals and groups can spend a day, a week or more helping residents of the Beaumont, Port Arthur, Corpus Christi and Rockport areas whose lives were turned upside down by the storm.

Visit the LCMS Texas District website for more information and to help. Questions may be directed to Julie Tucker, director of Disaster Response for the LCMS Texas District, at 210-324-8845 or juliet@concordia-satx.com.
