The 69th Regular Convention of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS) is set for July 18–23 at the Phoenix Convention Center. Whether you are attending in person or following the proceedings at home, here is everything you need to know about keeping up with all convention-related news.
BEFORE
The Convention Workbook, the Biographical Synopses & Statements of Nominees and other materials — such as the first issue of Today’s Business, a convention schedule and the convention Bible study — are already available at lcms.org/convention/national.
Please note: The convention schedule reflects Mountain Standard Time. (At this time of year, because most of Arizona does not observe Daylight Saving Time, Mountain Time coincides with Pacific Daylight Time.)
DURING
The opening Divine Service and all convention sessions will be livestreamed and archived at lcms.org/convention/livestream. (Currently, the livestream page reflects the 2023 convention. It will be updated soon.)
Shorter reels and videos will be posted on the Synod’s YouTube platform at youtube.com/thelcms.
Stories and news updates will be posted to the Reporter website at reporter.lcms.org. For daily email updates, subscribe to the Reporter email at lcms.org/reporter-signup.
KFUO Radio, the official broadcast voice of the LCMS, will be sharing stories throughout the week highlighting ministries and church leaders from around the world. Tune in at kfuo.org and facebook.com/kfuoradio.
Convention news will also be shared on the Synod’s official convention Facebook account at facebook.com/lcmsconvention and the main LCMS page at facebook.com/thelcms.
AFTER
Following the convention’s conclusion, all archived videos and published stories will continue to be available.
In addition, KFUO Radio and the Synod’s three publications (Reporter, Lutherans Engage the World and The Lutheran Witness) will offer follow-up coverage on all the news coming out of the convention.
