The TalkTrack system will be used for delegates and advisory representatives to speak at the 69th Regular Convention of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod from July 18–23, 2026, in downtown Phoenix.
The candidates whose names will stand in the runoff election are the Rev. Dr. Matthew C. Harrison, the Rev. Dr. Joel D. Biermann and the Rev. Benjamin T. Ball.
The initial round of voting in the election for president of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS) was not conclusive, and a runoff will be required.
Each of these topics — from pastoral formation to artificial intelligence to the structure and authority of the Synod’s mission boards — has gathered a number of overtures to watch, discuss and weigh in on.
