Before recent flooding, drought and frost, people in Papua New Guinea (PNG) prepare a meal from food grown primarily on subsistence farms. The series of catastrophic weather phenomena has now decimated the nation’s food supply. The LCMS has allocated an initial $16,500 to provide food and basic essentials during the crisis, which affects the LCMS partner church in PNG, Gutnius Lutheran Church. (Ezekiel Peter)
