Concordia University, Portland, seeks nominations and applications for a level IV staff position, beginning this spring. This position is responsible for administration and supervision of the Academic Applications Division of Information and Technology Services at Concordia. This division provides direct training and proactive assistance to university constituents (faculty, staff, students) in the effective use, application and management of technology resources in support of the institutional/divisional missions and department goals.
Essential responsibilities include serving as the Web CT administrator, director of the Center of Excellence in Learning and Teaching, and lead instructional technologist for faculty to develop courses and integrate technology resources into existing courses.
Qualifications include master’s degree in a related field preferred, bachelor’s degree required; experience and training in developing and utilizing educational technology tools and applications; demonstrated online and on-ground teaching experience preferred; and experience working with and developing course assessment and cyclic departmental, division and institutional evaluations.
