- Teaching positions: lower primary — reception one or pre-kindergarten (age 4); reception two or kindergarten (age 5); grade 1 (age 6); and grade 2 (age 7); classroom teachers and ESOL teacher. Upper primary (grades 3-5, ages 8-10) — classroom teachers, band teacher, and ESOL teacher; middle school (grades 6-8, ages 11-14) — vocal music director, classroom teachers (tentative), language arts, social studies, U.S. history, math, science; high school (grades 9-12, ages 15-18) — humanities teachers: history and English, AP economics, math teacher, college counselor, science teacher: biology, and ESOL teacher.
- Administrative positions: associate principal/literacy specialist — lower primary and associate principal for student life/teacher — high school.
- Intern position: music intern — lower primary, and drama intern — high school. Requirements for teachers and administrators: bachelor’s degree in relevant subject area, master’s preferable; minimum three years’ experience in the area for which you are applying and at the relevant grade level; and international school experience preferred. Intern requirements: strong academic background with relevant bachelor’s degree; experience working with young people as tutor, counselor, coach or other capacity; and interest in pursuing a teaching career and working in Asia.
