The election to determine who will receive the call to serve as the 10th president of Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, will take place May 11, and results of the vote will be “webcast” on the seminary’s Web site that day.
Casting the votes will be the seminary’s Board of Regents (voting as a group with one vote); the district president elected to the seminary’s Board of Regents, Dr. Arleigh Lutz, president of the North Wisconsin District; Synod President Gerald Kieschnick; and the chairman of the Synod’s Board for Pastoral Education, John M. Behrendt.
Election results and a short news conference with the president-elect will be webcast on the seminary’s Web site at www.csl.edu. More details about the webcast will be available on the Web site after May 1.

The new president will succeed Dr. John F. Johnson, who left the post last November to serve as the 10th president of Concordia University, River Forest, Ill. Johnson served as president of the St. Louis seminary for more than 14 years.
