The person in this position is responsible for conducting and supervising financial audits, operational reviews, SOX-type documentation of corporate controls, programs, and services. The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at Concordia University at Austin, Texas, seeks applicants for two full-time faculty positions in psychology. The successful candidate will be a person with the ability to complement the expertise of faculty already teaching in the behavioral sciences, which is one of the fastest growing majors within our college, and to work well as part of a Christian-based ministry. The courses this individual may be expected to teach include Introduction to Psychology, Life Span Development, Personality Theories, Abnormal Psychology, Social Psychology, Introduction to Counseling, Statistics for the Behavioral Sciences, and Research for the Behavioral Sciences.
Additionally, this person may be called upon to develop other courses consistent with his or her area of expertise. Candidates with a Ph.D. are strongly preferred; however, individuals with a master’s degree in psychology and a willingness to pursue a doctorate will be considered.
